CERI-Fayard

This CERI/Fayard series consists of collective works that present the contemporary trajectory of major countries or regions in the world today. Without claiming to be an exhaustive reference, they aim to cover the areas of politics and economics, social issues and the artistic and cultural fields. Whether the book deals with a country or region, its object of study is resituated in the context of international relations and the process of globalization, thereby offering a thorough analysis of the contemporary dynamics of political societies at the nation-state or regional level.

The scholarly ambition of the series is served by the interdisciplinary profile of the contributing authors and quality graphic matter (maps, charts) as well as a complete bibliography. Each book, moreover, includes two indexes – one of biographical names, the other of geographical names – designed to facilitate access to the wealth of information contained in each volume.
