With around 100 events per year CERI has become an essential meeting point for debate and exchange on questions of international interest.

The primary function of these events is to create a forum for academic exchange between the researchers at CERI and their French and international colleagues principally by means of research workshops and symposia.

CERI also organizes a number of major public events in the field of international relations designed to cater to a wider audience :

Our conferences provide a forum for guest speakers to present their research or indeed their final conclusions at the end of a research project to a wider public.
Our Atelier de Critique Internationale is an annual conference on a topic of international interest. The proceedings of this annual symposium are later published as a special issue of the journal.
Our Strategy Seminars, organised roughly once a month throughout the academic year by French and international experts, are reserved for our Corporate Partners. These seminars provide a unique occasion for academics and non-academics alike to fully grasp the intricacies and finer points of issues of relevance to current international affairs.
We also regularly organize “ Breakfast with the Press” events offering extensive media coverage to our authors and particularly those publishing in the CERI-Autrement series and in the annual special issue of Alternatives Internationales.
