Ph.D. in political science from the University of California, Berkeley and alumnus of the Ecole Normale Supérieure. Affiliated professor at HEC Paris and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (Bologna Center). Was a Visiting Research Fellow at Princeton University's Center of International Studies, the Institut Français des Relations Internationales (IFRI), and the Berkeley Roundtable on the International Economy (BRIE).
His research concentrates on the political economy of the European Union and is a part of the CERI Transversal Project “Economic Reform and Regulation”.
